If it makes you feel any better I always felt quite the opposite. My therapist were always wasting my time. Trying to speak to me of things they could understand and would never engage it what they did not. Which was basically me!!! It could also be because I have NPD and not BDP, oh well figured id spread the love. And to you "waiting" you will receive an autographed copy when it's published lol
