I had my wisdom teeth removed when I was about 16, and it wasn't pretty - wish I could tell you different. Mine were impacted so I had to have a general anesthetic. I was pretty sick from the antiseptic. And my face was pretty swollen and bruised for a few days afterward. The good news was that once they were out, there was zero pain.
