I sometimes have trouble controlling tears in public. Like, I'll feel sad-but when I get to the check out @ the library they will start to roll uncontrollably. I try to act nonchalant and joke, but they roll more. Somebody will stop me for directions, tears start to roll. The person on the receiving end always looks uncomfortable, God help them if they ask if I'm ok- sometimes voice quivering comes in @ this point. This is hugely embarrassing. They started to roll @ a job interview this am! I said my eyes were feeling super sensitive to light for some reason today, they just wouldn't stop! Hard to think someone would hire someone who can't control their emotions in public.....ugh. So far I have tried to immediately focus on something happy like the beach, but have had little success. Has anyone else suffered this and if so, what have you done to appear in control.
