There is absolutely nothing wrong with either of those interests. You aren't doing anything wrong and you aren't hurting anyone. There are many people in the world who share them. They're both multibillion dollar industries for a reason. The people who give you pushback for them just don't understand them (or maybe they generally have a chip on their shoulder about something, who knows). They may have interests that you don't get. Everybody is different. Indulge your interests as much as you want when you want. As far as the clothing, most people (if you haven't noticed) don't dress that well. Even if you try a tiny bit, you're going to stand out on that basis alone.
