Mick-- I'm sorry your brother is in a rough spot and that you are too.

Though I wasn't unscathed, there were younger ones that suffered so much more than I..... and I couldn't protect them.... (it's hard not to hate myself for this at times.... ) Many times I've wished-- "why couldn't it ALL just have been done to me? ...and that I didn't have to see all those frightened and sad eyes that I couldn't help"...

I also understand when similar things happen presently-- one can be back at 6 years old, or 10 or 15. It is very rough.

I hope you and your brother can get some help for your pain, maybe you are already?...
