I agree with pawn, I'll never take it again. The side effects were just too unbearable, plus it only "worked" if you consider being completely robotic working. However there are many people who take it and have great success with it. It's the only medication actually meant for bipolar and has been used for decades. I had a doctor tell me that they are starting to add lithium in smaller doses to med combos and find that effective.
