Try a method called four square breathing. Outline a square in yr mind. Breathe in deep, hold for four seconds then breathe out and hold for four seconds. Repeat this four times. It really helps ease an anxiety attack. Also, when you have a thought, process it then put a feeling to it do you feel validated. Then choose a positive behavior to help relieve the negative thought you might have. Choosing a positive behavior is important...for example instead of self harm, do an exercise like four square breathing or meditating. I.hope these ideas help you. Hugs
