Yeah, they go away.....just like everything else bipolar, mixed moods wax and wane. For me they are absolutely THE PITS---sad, angry, irritable, suicidal, and all with enough energy to cause a lot of damage. I get confused: am I manic? Am I depressed? Which one is it? And when that happens, I know I'm in a mixed episode and I give my pdoc a holler. Unfortunately, I usually don't realize I'm in one of these until I'm halfway out of it!

So sorry you're dealing with this. I hope the med tweak makes things better for you. And remember: this, too, shall pass.
