IMO, that doesn't sound narcissistic at all dubblemonkey. Paranoia is a symptom of mania for many people. It certainly was for me. (not hypomania, but intense mania)
During my longest and most extreme manic episode, it peaked with extreme paranoia. I thought the world was ending, everyone was out to get me, etc. (I literally thought the world was ending, and there was a conspiracy to get me, and I thought my mother's boyfriend tried to poison me, for no rational reason.)

It sounds like you are experiencing mania. I hope you come down soon.
