No I will not post under personality disorder for complex trauma. Two totally different diagnoses. There is enough confusion as there is around overlapping criteria.

See, if it's on my notes, it's "official" enough. There is enough published literature to outline the distinctions between the two. If we waited for everything to be in the DSM we'd severely stunt therapeutic progress (if it is diagnosis-driven) - it takes years.

Another option would be to have: "Other Specified Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorder" which is in the DSM, and the the member could then be given the option to specify how their diagnosis is different from the main trauma/stressor conditions.
