I got my wisdom teeth pulled when I was 14, they injected me with an anesthetic and gave me laughing gas. I was semi-calm, and then when the stuff took affect I had a sudden surge of that laughing feeling, but it was all internal, and I started feeling drowsy, while that was going on I think they gave m novocain, I never went completely unconscious, but the whole procedure took like 10 minutes and it felt like even less than that.

The procedure wasn't a bother at all really, afterwards was the annoying part where the novocain gradually weakened but in the mean time parts of my mouth and chin were still numb and it was an annoying feeling like your face fell asleep.
