ETA: also, if you enjoy writing, you should join NaNoWriMo (it's a writing challenge in November.. the goal is to write 50,000 words in the month) and most cities and that have meet ups of other fellow writers! It's great for social aspects and for making yourself write (even if you don't get 50k!)
