How inspiring your post. It sounds like you and your husband are making positive changes in your lives... If you continue on that route, you ought to have no trouble at all maintaining a positive outlook. Keep talking to each other, is all I can say.
I can relate to the living out your dreams bit, the cabin in the woods, composing, meditating... and staying optimistic about your love life. It's work, and ongoing negotiation... you're lucky to be part of a two-peas-in-a-pod situation. That's the only part I can't relate to... I've been in a pod all my own for far too long.
Me? I'd love to live remotely somewhere, off the land, farm, have chickens, cows... come to town once a month for supplies—or even once every other month, run around naked if I want to, ... you know, homestead, kinda thing.
Or, live in a house truck... travel around, stopping whenever and wherever I feel like it.
Keep your eye on the prize... don't let the challenges of life get you down...
Or, as they sing in that Monty Python movie "... always look on the bright side of life..."
God. I'm in a weird mood. Did any of what I said make sense, I wonder..?
