Upon some level of trauma... everybody has some level of PTSD. The level of overcoming it depends on many factors... and one of them is actually having support network. And some just don't talk about it so much. Ya think holocaust survivors get over it "just fine"? War children of everywhere? Some people just don't talk about their inner struggles. Some just push themselves hard to appear well, but if you know them closer ya know there is a lot trouble beneath. Lot of people are lucky to have support network to lean on, a faith or whatever to help them through...

Some people fall of heights and escape with few bruises. That is exception.

Breaking bone affects the bone structure. And it is yet not illness or disorder. Neuroplasticity can reverse a lot, just like you can heal a broken bone.
