I commonly have the same issue relating to my mental health. I'm not really so much aware of it as I used to be -- when this symptom is sort of "new," it's very alarming to go many hours and ask yourself "why the ***** am I not hungry!" If I realize I've gone a span without eating and still have no appetite, I will try and snack on something salty -- chips, popcorn.. I find the salty food stimulates my appetite. From there I make something light to eat as to not stress my stomach. Usually a salad and toast and a fruit to try and hit all the food groups.
Protein smoothies are good, also.. I usually carry granola bars on me as they are dense and don't leave me feeling nauseated after. Not usually. And bananas. Easy to eat, easy on your stomach.
