(1) My only income is Social Security Disability for a serious psychiatric illness.
(2) I don't have Medicaid.
(3) A saw a room for rent on Craigslist. I telephoned the owner to ask about renting that room. The owner asked, "What do you do for a living?" I answered, "I don't work. I'm on disability." The owner then asked, "What are you on disability for?" I answered, "I'd rather not say." He then said that he would not rent to me.
(4) It seems to me that apartment and room renters don't want people (especially men) who are viewed as "crazy" and therefore dangerous.
