I don't think I've ever had tofu in a black bean sauce (but it sounds good). We usually make it with red peppers, soy sauce, onions, garlic, etc. (it always tastes better the next day).

P.S. I think I was scarred from refried beans when my first high school would 'try' to make it themselves.
