Getting a correct diagnosis should be a relief. I was 55 before receiving my correct diagnosis. Seroquel can produce some side effects, and so can abilify. When you pick up your meds, ask for a private consult with the pharmacist about the possible side effects and what to look for. Some reactions to meds are temporary until your body becomes used to them. If they are serious or unbearable, call your doctor right away to explain what is happening. Your doc then can decide to change the dosage, or change the meds altogether. Just be alert to how you feel. Remember that it takes at least 2 weeks or more for new meds to begin being effective, so have some patience.
