Yes Juliana, my pdoc did prescribe me an anti-psychotic medication because he thinks that I have schizoaffective disorder. The thing is I don't believe that diagnosis because I don't think that I am psychotic at all. My current therapist says because of the new personalities that came up in the last few weeks, the diagnosis might be DID. I am going to my pdoc next Monday to talk to him about the multiple personalities and to change the diagnosis to DID instead of schizoaffective disorder. I want to get off the pills! There is no medicine for DID that I know of. That would be cool if I don't need an anti psychotic medicine anymore. I will agree to stay on the anti-depressant med though. I will talk to the pdoc about adding an anti anxiety med because I have severe anxiety. Besides the schizoaffective diagnosis and the possible DID, I have severe depression, conversion disorder (not as bad anymore), autism, and dependent personality disorder. Some doctors think I am also borderline but I don't fit in the criteria for that disorder. The reasons why I don't have schizophrenia or schizoaffective is that I don't have delusions, my hallucinations don't happen that often, my speech problems is better explained by DID rather than schizophrenia so no disorganized speech, no disorganized behavior and finally no negative symptoms. You must have 2 of 5 of those symptoms to have schizophrenia. I have not even a half a symptom.
