I'm so glad I read this. A few days ago I started taking 100mg (lamictal) in the morning as an increase from 200 at night for a total of 300. The third morning I was on it, after about a 1/2 hr i got terrible blurry vision and couldn't walk straight. That lasted 2 hrs. Since the increase is such a low dose, I'm skipping it today because I have to drive. I didn't know it is temporary. My doc didn't mention that, and he usually tells me if a side effect may occur. I called his office and left a message that I was only going to increase it by 50mg now. I can't sit around the house all day waiting for this to pass.
I think you should talk to your doctor about the meds you're on, and why so many. It does take a combination of meds to control BP, but I would look them up and see if two of them do the same thing so I could ask if I could be taken off one of them. I asked my new psychiatrist for a med overhaul and he changed mine. Maybe you need an overhaul, too. If he is unwilling to discuss meds with you, I would find another one who will work WITH you, instead of withholding a rational discussion.
