Not gonna put this in some place like the ED forum.
Last night, due to circumstances, I had no chance at all to grab anything on my way between work and the gym, and I had nothing with me edible. So, I was really starving by the time I got out of there, after 8 pm - had had anything to eat since my afternoon snack, which was cucumbers and Greek yogurt anyway.
I gave into it ... stopped on the way home and bought a pepperoni pizza and a 20 ounce bottle of Coke. I ended up eating 4 slices, plus of course the bottle of Coke.
And I have to confess, it tasted pretty good. It wasn't great, it was just cheap "ready to go" pizza from a chain.
And, of course, today I feel like crap physically - my system is not used to junk like that now, and it is rebelling, I have that really heavy feeling.
I know its' not the end of the world -- but shame on me anyway.
Today, I'm staying very light to compensate, and because I am not hungry anyway after that. Cucumbers, yogurt, water, and a couple of ounces of very lean beef so far. I will have lunch, probably more beef on a low-carb wrap.
Overall, was it worth it? Not really.
