This morning at work I found an envelope on my desk, opened it up and it was a card from someone I don't know that thanked me for giving her a smile the other day, she said how much it had been needed and helped her feel better. I am guessing I passed her in the hallway and smiled at her in passing because I always do that, just to acknowledg the other person I guess. Her thoughtfulness to thank me for such a small act really touched me. It also made me think if there are times I am in a bad mood if I have a scowl on my face that could have the opposite effect on someone. I must remember to be mindful!! Just wanted to share.
