I was talking about this today with my new T. Although it was in reference to narcissism.

When she asked if I could identify any narcissistic traits I said that I would probably go with the grandiose fantasies.

It's just so much nicer in there. No one can hurt me.

Besides, what's the point of fantasizing if you're just gonna be yourself?
