Exactly. At my last session I told my therapist this and he helped me figure out how to manage it (I hate feeling so distracted all the time.) Interestingly, he doesn't think I'm talking to *him* but actually a part of myself. I'm not sure I agree. He suggested I think of someone else to talk to in my head but I'm finding it difficult to break the habit.
