Ask your SO if they can not drink and substitute something else to drink. My mom became an alcoholic because my stepdad drank every night and she joined him. She must have had a propensity for it.
I drink a drink or two with meds even though I know I should not. I only do this if we go out, not at home. But I know it is wrong. Alcohol triggers me to feel down.
