I definitely appreciate my small town. I love it here. I completely and totally understand what you're saying. I never feel home anywhere else. When people talk about hating this place, it makes me a little sad. Why hate it? It's quiet and peaceful and small and nice. They just don't appreciate it.
When I'm older, I want to move to a big city, though. I probably would feel offended if I was in a big city and people made fun of small towns. They're the best places out there.  |
Thanks for the reply, I agree! It's good to get out and see the world but I will never forget where my home is. I just wish people weren't so negative and looked for the beauty in simplicity. Many people are quick to judge/pessimistic and it's kind of irritating. I know they're entitled to an opinion but I feel as if they are forming it based on their own negativity. I'm glad that there are those out there like yourself who understand.
