They hired this new guy at work and I'm the one who is training him. He is 20 years old. Today, it's been a month since he was hired. I would think by now he would know so much. The thing is he didn't learned nothing.
I am not mean so I looked to see that maybe he had difficulty learning, difficulty focussing, difficulty hearing, an illness of some kind. There is diffinatly something wrong but I don't see it.
I can repeat the same thing about 5 to 10 times and still he don't get it. I can tell him " You do this and I will do that " but no he will not do it unless I do everything with him. It doesn't work this way where I work. There is a lot of work to do and we have to do each our part sometime seperately.
Now I'm also talking about this because he is driving me crazy. He follows me all day long, all evening long. When I say he is following me, I'm mean following me. He is right behind my back. If I turn around too fast I bumped on him. He just follow me.
Tonight I sold a $2000 patio furnuture to a customer. This can be heavy stuff. I told this young employee to come help me put the furnuture together and take it out to the gate so the customer can come to pick it up. He walked out on me?! While he was gone I did the job my myself, hurt my hand, I have a bruise on my leg and the customer couldn't believe I was alone helping him loading his furnutures in his truck. Then the young employee show up again. I asked him where he went. He told me he went on break. I said " You went on break leaving me loading the furnutures by myself?" He replied I didn't know you needed help. What's wrong with this young guy? I told him I needed him to help me. But then he acts as if .........I don't know.
And I repeat when he is with me he keeps following me as if he is a young child.
Can somebody help me with this one?
