I'm diagnosed with Bipolar 2 and have been on Depakote for at least a year and a half. It's been working rather well for my situation though recently I've been given the bad news of a manufacturer's backup in availability. I've had to switch over to the basic form of it; Valproic Acid. Unfortunately, it's totally rough on my stomach and there's the option of Depakote ER but without insurance I'm unable to afford it. Just wondering if anyone else is currently in this situation and how they're feeling with taking the alternative. Thanks!
