You did the right thing, Mouse. Maybe you will feel a bit more connected once T writes you back. And I have a feeling that we all think that our T's find it a chore when we reach out to them outside of session. However, I think your T would be proud of you that you emailed her. Trust me, I could think of a lot of stupider things to do when you are feeling disconnected (I have done a whole bunch of them this week!). Emailing your T is one of the smartest. It's okay that you needed comfort from outside-- these are healthy ways of reaching out. These are ways of healing yourself.
