I think superior is relative to the situation. If I'm clearly the smartest person in the room - I got that going for me.
But other rooms I'm not the smartest and I acknowledge that.
Some rooms I'm the prettiest - some I'm not.

I guess a normal person wouldn't think about the relevance of superiority in any way.
