When you go to a party, you go to the people you already know and you hang out with them first-you may say hi and chit chat with the people you don't know but you're always drawn back to the people whom you've already made connections with. Nothings wrong with the new people you've just met, it just takes time to open up to them, to get to know them, to trust them to get to know you-you know, that kind of thing.
