I've been in a partial or IOP for the better part of a year (different ones, discharged then go back). They have helped tremendously. But I attended partial when school was out ( I'm a teacher) and the IOP I go to is in the evening so I didn't have to miss work. I did miss work due to a couple of inpatient stays and for those I just told my coworkers and my boss for that matter that I was having a reaction to a medication. Most everyone left it at that.
