I notice my anxiety is not as noticeable when I feel numb, which can last quite a while at times...but that doesn't mean I feel better, feeling empty and numb also sucks. I guess I figure my mind/body exhausts itself from being too anxious/stressed/depressed and such I end up feeling numb but I have no idea if that is actually why it happens.
But yes I have had times where I have bad panic attacks, sometimes PTSD related but had them before as I had significant anxiety issues before I ended up with that...and I have had boughts of almost complete numbness in which I just want to feel something, which doesn't always lead to good things.
