Something that had a positive influence that helped to keep me safe as a child was a programme that my school ran. It involved different emergency services coming in and talking to us about personal safely....

Fire fighter spoke about fire prevention, Police officer about stranger danger and a Nurse spoke to us about the underwear rule each made it fun by having a game with candy etc.

Things like this that back parents up are important in my opinion.
