I was on gabapentin for over 5 years for fibromyalgia. My highest dose was 1800mg. It stopped working for me as far as pain and it never helped my insomnia. The sleep apnea you have is surely a complicating factor for your sleep but I am glad the gabapentin helps. So sorry you have to be on CPAP. I have great difficulty in initiating sleep and staying asleep. So I look at major meds to knock me out.
