No problem for water for me. And looks like the east coast of FL (south) is only getting 50 mph winds... feeder bands of terrible storms though lightning and tornadoes.<font color=purple>

The west coast of FL is not built for hurricanes. They never took the increased building codes because they never get hit by big storms. HA! Even though Charley is only a category 4, there is going to be little left of the coastal/beach homes, I fear.

At least this will fill Lake Okeechobee, which supplies alot of our ground water, and we have been in drought conditions.

PLUS by it going in south of Tampa, looks like Disney World won't be hit full force (it isn't built for big wind either!) And the worst side of a hurricane is the NE quadrant, so central FL will get the NW quadrant.

I'm between Ft Lauderdale and Miami... if it doesn't keep going NE, but more E, THEN I'll get more than I want. No, wait, I have already had more weather than the dog and I want!
