I just watched the news. As I suspected, the water here is much higher than they expected. The firemen/women are still pumping water out of the lake where the damn is damaged. They have to get it down another five feet before they can begin to repair it. The people are still sheltered at the high school.

There are many mud slides and roads are blocked.

The governor has declared a state of emergency for part of West Virginia.
