I've been experiencing deja vu very frequently lately for the past few months. Something will happen, and I don't experience deja vu immediately, it's almost delayed a bit. A few minutes later the feeling will hit me and I feel like whatever just happened to me a few minutes ago has happened to me already another time. At the same time, I'll be aware that it feels unusual but unsure whether whatever I'm experiencing the deja vu about has happened before or not. I recognize it as deja vu, so I don't believe it can be any kind of psychotic symptoms. This happens almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I know this can be a sign of seizures so I'm going to mention it to my pdoc next time I see her, but it also may have co-incided with starting a new med. All research I've done doesn't turn up deja-vu as a side effect of this med at all, so I'm not sure what it could be.
I had an MRI done for any brain abnormalities and also an EEG to check for seizure activity in 2010 when I began seeing my pdoc, and everything came up clean.
Has anyone else ever experienced deja vu this frequently?

Underneath this skin there's a human
Buried deep within there's a human
And despite everything I'm still human
I think that I'm still human
