Yes, I agree with you, zinco. I got "depressed" when I reached 46 and realized Life was at least half over and I did not need to worry about what I was going to be when I grew up

anymore. But it's a normal part of life, part of one's "midlife crisis".
I think not liking his job and getting fired, etc. were hard for him but his creative antics like the blackmailing and ability to exercise as well as his interest in Angela show he could not have been too clinically depressed.
