Hi detachedangst, well if it was just as simple as promising someone to stop and stopping..............!!! But it isn't is it??!! There's a lot more to it than that!!!
But this seems to be a bit much about his feelings e.g. him being hurt............right now, so maybe a bit more attention on your feelings right now would help??
Maybe now he's "opened his eye's" to it you could talk to him a bit more about what's going on for you and hopefully get some understanding and support from him??
But you know, you'll get that here too..............so if you want to talk more about it..............
