Sometimes people just don't understand the effect that their words can have. I know it's oh so much easier said than done, but try not to take her words to heart. I'm in agreement with the others, confront her. Saying those things might be a "joke" to her, perhaps if you talk to her and let her see that it's serious to you then she may stop.
