Posting this seems really off after the horrible tragedy at VA Tech today, so I'd like to have a bit of space here for the victims, wounded, and their families and friends before I begin, just out of respect and genuine concern for all those involved.

Well, I'm back from Florida... and I had an INCREDIBLE time. I'd never been to Disneyland before, not to mention Epcot or Universal Studios, so I was really amazed by everything. The castle at the Magic Kingdom is even more beautiful than I imagined it would be, and I really did feel like a little girl again. I even managed to get over my terror of roller coasters and ride "The Revenge of the Mummy"... though I STILL don't like 'em. ^.^ Got lots of presents for the folks back home, and our choir swept the entire competition. Golds and first places for everything, except when one of our choirs lost to another on of ours, so not bad! XD My voice is shot from screaming, though.

My flubbed up audition and pounds of schoolwork kind of deadened the victory, but all-in-all my make-up spring break was great. I truly hope you ALL can break through whatever clouds that are facing you and have a day or two as good as the memories I made. You all DESERVE it!!!

to all,
~muse

P.S. I can't remember the name of the user who suggested diaphragmatic breathing (sorry!! I suck at names, and couldn't find the thread in my post history), THANK YOU!! That helped me SOO much when the plane was going through turbulence... I got SO scared, but then I remembered to breathe right... ^.^
