ok, pardon me for saying this, but if he breaks up with you, and then says that the door isn't completely shut, there is a problem. Now from my oh so humble of experiences, when guys say things like that, doesn't matter if they're Ghandi or Hitler, it means they are seeing what's out there, and keeping you on the side so if they feel like they can't find anything better, they can come back to you. Don't be a sucker! Time will heal all, and let it. Don't go back to him. Maybe once the grieving is over, and you look back on this, you'll realize that he wasn't as great as you thought he was, and you'll find someone that is. Sending you 2 huggles!
