It was really good news when the police called the guy in the pickup and told him they had the creep under arrest! Because the pickup wasn't as mangled as our poor little car was, he was the one to go identify the driver. We were allowed to limp home. Jerry had to pull the fender away from the wheel to drive the car. Poor little car!
