That said, for better or worse she is your supervisor and unless you really do want to look for a new job, the best way to get out from under this cloud over your head is to treat this woman with respect and make peace with her. In corporate terms, this is called 'managing your manager'. Doesn't mean you have to like her but if you don't, she doesn't have to know it. she wants to believe that you believe in her.

Call a truce of sorts, soften your attitude, make an amend if you need to for the error you made and maybe the whole thing will blow over. What do you have to lose? After all, you are the one who is suffering.
Friend, I can't tell you how many times I have attempted to "kiss her *** just to get along". I've listened to her grandkid stories, I felt bad for her when her mom died a few years ago, I mean we have a history......but with this one, things like that; doesn't work with her. After 20 years, I've seen people caught in her cross hairs, they don't have a chance..... You can be nice and friendly with this woman one minute and later find out she was over at another office talking about you negatively. I mean, when she doesn't like you, its on (smile). Oh and a bit of a side note here....when the company downsized a few years ago and the layoff was massive, they kept me because I'm a hard worker, good person, I get along with everyone and I know my job inside and out. If my attitude got any softer, I'd need angel wings (smile)....Have a great weekend!!
