The article talks about scheduling "worry time" as a means to decrease the amount of time people spend worrying. There is an outline of the steps involved in this exercise. Too, there are links to other resources supporting the exercise.
We all have enough to deal with now. Decreasing the amount of time worrying about something that may not happen in the future seems to make sense, as long as it does not pose a risk to plans that are essential to our well-being.
