Thank you for starting this thread.

I can't imagine how the parents of the dead students must feel at this time. How do you understand that your child was shot in class.

I have to admit it makes me feel a little more anxious than normal, going into my classroom tomorrow.

My classroom is small, and I am the person farthest from the door. There are no windows which can be opened, through which to escape.

I feel like I will need to be extra encouraging to my students for surely it will be on their minds as well.
