I definitely believe my therapist cares. If he didn't, I'd find another one! One of my best friends IRL is a psychologist -- she said she always knew it was her "calling." I'm sure she cares about her clients.

But in every profession, there are bad apples. If you find a therapist who clearly doesn't care about his/her clients, find someone else!!!
