That sounds similar to me.

I have noticed I have no motivation for sex while depressed. Also I am middle aged.

That is interesting that you don't eat until dinner. Do you consume any calories at all? I think the low blood sugar is what causes the effect that I enjoy. I don't fast that much, because often I don't have the willpower and feel so crummy.
