Thank you all for your responses. Today my oldest 11yo had his counseling appt (ADHD but now a question of bipoloar also). He brought up "dipolar" and started asking questions. So with the help of his T we explained it and that I was taking medications to help the sx just like he is taking meds to help the adhd.

You know what he said? He said that he knew a long time ago that something was wrong and that because I am getting help he feels like I really care about him. Made me cry I love them so much
